Welcome to the Public AZSITE Mapping Portal
Welcome to the Public Face of AZSITE: Arizona’s Cultural Resource Inventory. AZSITE Public provides viewing of non-culturally sensitive spatial data and a cultural resource sensitivity layer. The Cultural Resource Sensitivity layer is designed to provide a broad overview to the potential level of cultural resource restrictions during land development projects.
The AZSITE board is a partnership formed between the Arizona State Museum, the State Historic Preservation Office, the Museum of Northen Arizona and Arizona State University. The AZSITE Interactive Mapping Application was developed by the GIS Services Core at Arizona State University's Institute For Social Science Research using ESRI's ArcGIS Server 9.2 software.
For best results, it is strongly recommended that your computer's resolution be set to 1024x768 or higher when using AZMAP. For digital map prints, Windows users should download CutePDF. Mac users have the ability to print to pdf built in.
